Oh yeah! I've been following this build for a long time and its nice to see that bad ass truck come to life...sorta.

Sounds nasty! Congrats on it all. Once you get that idle on mark, give it a stab in the butt for all of us. The big motors my brother n law's teams have had in their Pro door slamers all have a steady, cool, low rumble at idle despite making 1500+ hp. Gary

My motor guy is on vacation this week hopefully when he gets back we'll get on the tune ASAP. Thanks again to everybody for the positive feedback.

This is looking really nice. If you had described it to me, then I would have said "not really my kind of thing", but seeing the pictures it all makes sense. Love the motor and the stance. It is just brutal.
Can't wait for the 1/4 mile video!

Thanks to everybody for the compliments. Little Terry, I totally understand were you're coming from. I know when it comes to be HAMB friendly I'm awfully close to the edge. In fact I'm surprised I don't get more shit for running one of those modern BBC's.

Thanks again for all the positive comments. I dropped the truck off at my buddy's last night. We're going to work on the tune first thing Saturday morning. I'm getting really close to the first drive!!

Well here it is, the video of the first drive!! I trailered the truck over to my good friends house last wednesday. We did a bunch of work on the carbs on Saturday and a couple of late nights this week. The man is a genius!! The truck idles about a 1000 RPM now. We still have a little more messing with the setup but it's very close.

I got a bunch of little things to address but it went down the road. I'm going to fix a leak in my tranny cooler lines and check over everything again,then drive it home tomorrow or saturday. Wish me luck!!
