Event Coverage Palouse, WA hot rod show pics

Today a lot of Hambers met up and travled 70 miles south to a TINY town call Palouse for their annual hot rod show. The turn out was huge, we had nearly 20 cars meet this morning for the trip down. The drive was great, got pretty hot but as far as I know, everyone made it there and back in one piece!

Looks like it was a nice little show. Good to see you dad out and driving his new Model A pickup, it makes me wish I had the roadster on the road.

Yes, the red truck is a Stude, was really cool, I had never seen one that early before.

Great pics...cool little show. Not too sure about that bobber truck abortion thingy with the V6 and tiny tires, though.

Palouse is the perfect little town for this sort of gathering. I think this particular event could grow bigger and bigger every year into something really special. Eastern Oregon needs an event that kicks a** to draw all of the cars over from the West side of the state. A little bit more promotion next year and I think this could happen very easily. Have some vendors show up, some bands playing, good food, etc.. You get the picture.

That's the abortion I referred to in my other post.

 

Yeah that Stude was a factory truck. Known as an express. Very hard to find and very expensive from all I've ever seen. Cool show. They had it packed to capacity I heard. About 100 cars. Don't know how they'll grow it for next year unless they increase amount of cars they let in but looking forward to it. Thanks Chris for the pics.

 

Thanks for posting the pictures Chris. It was nice shakin' your hand, and thanks to all of you for coming down. It looks like next year we will have to block off ALL of Main Street! The bands were great and the weather couldn't have been better. Plan on coming down next year.....always the Saturday after Memorial Day.
