Projects Do you recognise this T

Do any of you have any info or other pictures of this yellow Roadster ?
It has the Watson nose on it that I want to put on my Roadster project.
If you have a Watson nose in the attic, let me know

 

Hotrod had a "Dare to be Different" article on a fellow who built his own "Watson" type- was very impressive.

You might also try posting on the Sprint Car thread for a Watson nose.

 

never seen the car in yellow, but I dig the rendition of your project!

 

How about asking AJ? He is home most days I can get you intouch with him.

 

That car is here in Arizona. I believe it was originally red w/the Olds. It still has the yellow paint but w/a big block Chevy? and 2 4's.

Mac Miller in Indy may have a nose like that available and I have all the torsion bar stuff.

I'm always amazed at the HAMB gearhead detective squad.

 

Several years ago a buddy of mine bought new nose and tail sections for a Watson roadster. My fading memory says it was from a place in Indy. Let me know if you can't fine it and I'll check with him on the source.

 

This is definitely my favorite from Chauvin.
I've never met him, but I hear he's a character and one fine fabricator!

 

macmiller on this site has the molds and has made the noses for for most (if not all) of the Watson replicas built in the last 10 years-including the ones built by Watson.

 

I'd hate to ask the price but I'm gonna, whats a WATSON STYLE nose going for these days?

Looks like you're planning on a '26/'27 roadster body? I like the transition from watson to roadster in your drawing a good bit better than the '23 style!

 

Mac, your right its a 27 body that I'm planning to use.
