A public thank you to Darren for taking the time to put the website together and also for the time and effort he puts into making sure the event runs (reasonably) smoothly as well. The hard work doesn't go without notice, thanks mate!

Thanks guys. The website is still in its infancy, so check back often for more features on the cars that take part.
It'd certainly be cool to see an equivalent race class over there. We all have a heap of fun which doesn't take that much organisation, to be fair, and the beer and BS session at the end of racing is second to none.

Ryan...There are alot of Flathead Hotrods I've seen at the drags that would like to race one another, in a Flathead Class, at the HAMB Drags.
I think it's a good idea. |

I think it's RAD how dedicated those across-the-ponders are. It's not cheap to put together a rod here...immagine importing everything or trying to scrounge it!

Thanks for posting something british Ryan!
The flathead flatdown is a great event and although i've never actually been to any events featuring the it, I just know its really great! I don't know if you know, but the car on the picture was built and is driven by Jim Turnball. Anyone know if he has a HAMB account, i'd love to see it! PS: by the way jim, if your reading this, congratulations on such a buetiful car, and such a fast one too!

Nice one Darren, s'looking good. And it all looks so glamorous too! Wish I had pictures of the mud oozing up between my toes in the "flathead pits" from last year. Ah, the rain, the fog, the slime. And laying in the dirt to wipe that single drip from the rear main...
