I saved a 32 desoto from a field in red oak, IA about 5 years ago.
The old man was really nice and let me have it for a steal and had said that no one had ever asked about it.......asking doesnt hurt Grommet

And I say that all the time, asking never hurts! I buy or am given cars and trucks that are out in the open that people lust after all the time merely because I ask about them. (also driving the right car never hurts, I usually show up in my fully restored 31 Pontiac when I ask )

My friend Pat found this 52(?) Chevy wagon in the woods. Little finagling, a back ho, and some amateur tree felling, and it's his now! I'll try and go back and snap some pictures of the cars around it. Most of them had less than happy endings. The Sedan was rescued from a similar fate, but is much worse off than it looks.
A long restoration awaits the wagon, but a lot of the parts are in pretty shape. The 'floor' on the other hand is strictly a memory.
