I'm trying to decide how much to chop the top on my 30 ford coupe.
there is a thread on here that explains tire and wheel sizes along with the corosponding pictures. that really helped me decide on wheel and tire size.

i would like to start a thread with pictures of model a's (COUPES OR SEDANS 2 DOOR OR 4 DOOR ETC..) that have been chopped with a description of how much chop (example: 3", 3 1/2", 5" etc...)

this would really help me visualise before i chop mine!
thanks in advance for your help.

Full fendered ,hiboy ,A chassis ,B chassis, channelled it all depends on the style of the car, your size etc. Mine is on B rails and I chopped it about 3 3/4. #%@! photo bucket is being gay, it's here some where if ya really want to see it. The bigger the chop the more work to get all the window openings to line up on the inside.

Are you considering comfort? Makes a big difference in a Model A if your 6'4" tall how much you cut it, if your 5'!0' it's not as critical. I know some guys that's not an issue but I hate driving with my head ducked no matter how cool it looks.

I agree, A's look good chopped, channeled or stock!! East coast A's look the best, channeled not chopped!! but the thread is asking for chopped....My A was stock before I chopped it and I liked it better with 6 inches removed...my 2cent:D

This is 6", I wouldnt go this far again, the header panel makes for a huge blind spot when it comes to yellow lights turning red.

I would like to play with chopping one 6 but raise the windshield header 1.5 and only cut the windshield frame 4.5"
