WELL I WORK FOR KNOTTS HERE IN CALIFORNIA IN THE REFRIGERATION DEPT. AND ONE OF THE COOL THING ABOUT WORKING HERE IS HAVING FOUND OUT THAT MR. ED ROTH WAS A PAST EMPLOYEE OF THE KNOTT FAMILY.THIS IS WHAT I FOUND THE LITTLE HISTORY LEFT BY THE BIG TAKE OVER CEDAR FAIRS. MANY PEOPLE IN MY DEPARTMENT STILL REMEMBER HIM FONDLY AND HAVE MANY STORYS OF HIM AND HIS HONDA HE USED AS A COLOR PALLET. ENJOY

Ed @ Knotts and Kenneth @ Cars of the Stars....I delivered them welding supplies when I worked for Wayne Welding in Anaheim back in the day....who cares...alls I cared about back then was my Hippie van and my 50 Chebby sedan delivery.
They were unique individuals never to be duplicated.... Michigan Rick

The shop that they stored and maintained the Berrywagon at was down the street from our shop when I was a kid. I can remember it running up and down our dead end street on Saturday afternoons when I would go into "work" with my dad. Dad was in a car club with Ed in Maywood when they were kids. He intorduced me to Ed for the first time in the late 70's. I remember it to this day.

As I recall, Ed worked for Knotts and Boyd Cottington worked for Disneyland back in the day.
