I met a Gentleman at the pile up who said he was starting a new Magazine called Primer & Candy and was taking pictures at the show. He gave me a link to his site that he said had some pictures. Boy was he right there are thousands of cool photos from the beach boys coupe to the Kirk Mckormick Collection of old customs. There is 456 pictures from the pile up. Worth your time to check them out.

Great photos, I LOVE the 31 hiboy coupe that's not on 32 rails. The shiny grey one with the white wheels. What a terrific car!

I don't recall his HAMB name. As far as the mag goes, never seen it. Hell of a model car guy too. Joel

[/ QUOTE ] That's Yngrodder's ride, the guy who started this thread. It's an old survivor and one of the most popular rides at the PileUp judging from the crowd that was always around it. If I remember correctly, Dave Darby intro'ed right after BilletProof Detroit. He shot and shared some great photos from there in his intro. I'm looking forward to checking out his PileUp ones. Thanks Mel for brining the link to everyones attention. |

Hi all, wow, I had meant to post some pics, but was just to busy these past few days. I'm glad to see a few of you made it over to visit my web page.
The name of the new magazine is Candy & Primer. It is still in the developmental stage, and we plan on launching it this coming spring. I took 95 percent of the photos in the new WIZZZ magazine, for those of you who have seen it. Candy & Primer Magazine has an email address; CandyPrimer@yahoo.com , and hopefully we will be getting it's own webpage running in the coming months. How bout some pics? Candy & Primer will focus on the scene both yesterday and today, where some of those cars from the past are now, and both scale and full size rods and customs. Plus artwork, music and retro stuff. Stay tuned! I would like your opinion on something. Do you guys prefer the small digest size, or full size? Let us know, either here or by email. |
