Been priming and blocking and figured I better stop and make all the aluminum panels that go in the front and rear wheelwells, rocker panels, roof scoops, grille opening and a bunch more in the engine compartment. first pic is of the car when it was new.
Hey.... do a search on the web! Here's one link that'll explain. http://www.customclinic.com/fullcust/Cushenbery/ccdr/ccdr.html By the way... great looking work Moriarity
If you were a kid in the late 60's, you may also remember the car as the Hot Wheels "Python", released in 1968. That was the first HW car I got when I was 5 years old. I'm in awe that you get to work on it! Can't wait to see it finished.
Looking good, Mark! Thanks for the update. As soon as we do something thats newsworthy, we'll update as well. Carl
its a reversal restoration... meaning... it was changed to keep up with the show circut... but mark is putting it back to the way it was when it was released... and its obvious it'll be way better than before... you can see how shitty they did the aluminum in those before pics!!! and marks is way too clean and the lines are too straight!! Its gonna rule...
cool!!!!!!! You are a genus!!!!! Would love to stop in and help. But darn the luck, minnesota is on the way to nowhere. maybe you can load it up and bring it down by "charlieville" and we can beat on it for awhile!! Later--jeff
