Been priming and blocking and figured I better stop and make all the aluminum panels that go in the front and rear wheelwells, rocker panels, roof scoops, grille opening and a bunch more in the engine compartment. first pic is of the car when it was new.

If you were a kid in the late 60's, you may also remember the car as the Hot Wheels "Python", released in 1968. That was the first HW car I got when I was 5 years old.
I'm in awe that you get to work on it! Can't wait to see it finished.

Nice work Sir,looks like the fit and finish is way better on your panels verses the originals.

  16. It looks great. But I'm confused, is this a restoration, or a replication?

    its a reversal restoration...
meaning... it was changed to keep up with the show circut...
but mark is putting it back to the way it was when it was released...

and its obvious it'll be way better than before... you can see how shitty they did the aluminum in those before pics!!! and marks is way too clean and the lines are too straight!!

    Its gonna rule...

  19. Cool Mark, crazy task you have set upon!

  20. We're not worthy!! damn cant wait to see it done ,great work on the tin
