OK, OK.....I know......I'm a bit later than those who've already posted pics from the Hunnert.........however, I was at a disadvantage since I had to get all the way back to Jersey.....

I shot a lot of pics and altered a few to be artsy fartsy, but I hope you enjoy them.......there's also some pics of old trucks I found in fields in Iowa.....pretty cool stuff, but a shame that they are just rusting away....

I have to mention how much I enjoyed finally meeting up with Breeder & Mrs. Breeder (really cool people), Malcolm and Hot Rod Roadster from Omaha.......Stick Shift from Illinois, Flat Top Norm, T-Bird Guy62, and a lot of others........as always, great to have a chance to jawbone with Denise and several of her pals........and I must thank Fordy 6 for inviting me to the event and to saty with him at his home in Iowa last week.......it was great to crawl around Pella and get to know some of the gearheads from there and to see their garages and projects.........many thanks to everybody.....

And now, without further adieu..........some pics......

  12. Leave it to an old Jersey boy (like me) to come up with some really different photos of the PileUp. Nice point of view. Refreshing.
Did Denise get arrested for child endangerment? Kinda young wasn't he sweaty?
What are all these people going to do when black T-shirts stop being produced?
No honey, the tats don't make you more attractive!
Clever use of the tag overrider on the horns of the Model A
No fellows, tractor radiator shells, cam shaft tie bars and welded chain were never on traditional hot rods....NEVER

AWESOME photos Brucie! Wonderful seeing you again and having the opportunity to hang out.

Yep, he's 13, alittle too young right now BUT if he was about 20 years older.......:D He's an awesome guy, the son of RobLee. Him and I are GREAT pals and hang out at the different events when we get the chance. He's got alittle crush and the feeling is mutual.;)

Anytime I can take a member of the younger generation under my wing and show them a good time in a hot rod or custom I'm going to jump at the opportunity.

Chris......young metal fabricator from Pella, Iowa.......friend of Fordy 6.......name's Gene Senn......he mated a Model A roadster body, with a cut off top from a '35 tudor sedan and made his own version of a three-window.......the thing trucked down the road like a champ right in front of us for 4 1/2 hours from Pella to Morris, IL........has a flathead with a T-5 in it......rolls really well! It's a real *handbuilt*.......

These design elements sure aren't what I would have thought to put together, but man do they work! That really looks cool!
