Can somebody help? I'm wanting to do my 58 something like the Victorian by the Alexander brothers...or any mid 50s to early 60s influence. No chop, but definitely something front and rear...change up side trim also. Any ideas???

I call this the Stiletto Shoebox.
1949 Ford sectioned, chopped and hardtopped. It's lengthened in front of the doors and the rear quarters and trunk are shortened. |

How would you like a 57 Chrysler grille, 59 chevy side trim and 62 olds taillights? And rear grilles made from 59 chevy 'eyebrows' ? Not sure how this would work proportionally in real life though, digital art has no boundaries :P ![]()

![]() [/QUOTE]That's Awesome!!! Now I'm getting motivated. Never thought of the 59 chev parts for rear roll pan. I did consider 62(?) Chevy truck hood front, but I like the 59 much better! Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad |

Here's a two-door 63 Studebaker Wagonaire that I made with MS Paint. How about a black ranch woody with mags?

All you need is a hood with grilles (61 btw) . If you would decide to use the 59 Impala pieces you would need to either fabricate most of it, or cut up a hood, two fenders and the middle part of the front end, and weld together all the trim pieces :POh, btw, the hubcaps are 58 Edsels, which could look even better with bullet centers

I first saw photos of this car when it was just completed and I had the same reaction. But it really grew on me, because it was so different and predicted a much later styling trend. Give it time!
