well i thought i would start a build thread and tell you little bit about my car.i had been looking for a coupe in my price range for a while.i saw a add in the auto trader for a 1930 ford for sale .no piciture just a number so i call the guy and asked about the car.he told me with ''now im going to tell ya right now before you get here that window on the driver side has got a crack in it'' and with that i about burned my truck up tryng to get there.when we pulled up tp the gate it said ''HALF MOON FARMS'' hints the name.so with money in hand and when i looked in the barn i looked at my father inlaw who went with me and at the same time we said well take it.so heres the photo of when we brought it home and after we had it sand blasted.

LOOKIN' Good, Man! Looks like a nice straight body, that roller part of the build is a GOOD thing ain't it! Keep up the updates, I like to follow other ''A'' build threads.
Oh almost forgot, what motor are you goin' to run?

Just seen your last pictures (I type slowly!) NICE chop too!

Nice work. 4 inch chops look so good on those. I am looking forward to following your build and seeing all of your progress. Do you plan on channeling it any, and what engine and tranny do you plan on using?

i got a 331 crysler hemi with a 6x2 log manifold and im wanting to put a t5 in it.my motor should be back from the machine shop in a few weeks.but the body is any thing but straight. the car was wrecked and it was all out of wack.had to replace the subframe because it was t boned and had about a 2.5 inch bow in it.it still isn't perfect but i got more hours in that part of the car than any.thanks for the complements.

Most guys would have pissed and moaned and tried to get the old guy down a couple hundred because of that cracked window.
