Headed off nice and early Sunday morning (Fathers day) for a 300 kilometer (dunno how many miles) trip to nostalgia day run/BBQ run held by a couple of blokes with rod related buisnesses in and industrial area. Local police tried to shut it down, canning the band for playing without a permit and ticketing a young kid for riding his chopper bycicle without a helmet
![]() Anyhow, most still had a great day and made it home safe thru some hellish weather. Here's a sample of what attended.... Fuel stop early morning, halfway there.. '58? ford early chanelled roadster in progress '50 ford Stude Loved this T rear.. QQMOON's 12 sec coupe More to come soon.... Cheers and beers Jimbob |

OK, here's the rest...
This was in about a '68 galaxie, sounded impressive, what is it? '34 which we met on the road not far from Canberra, he was from Victoria so already a good 6 hours from home. Not too sure if this was an original, or something new, but it looked a bit funny to me neat A roadster Appparently this A was recently purchased from a restorer, still ran the banger with lakes pipe, hyd brakes Tri power 409 28 coupe, Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Olds Hemi powered 3 window Hope I'm not using too much space, someone will tell mee ![]() Genuine 50's chanelled roadster running olds motor, still the origininal owner. Chopped Chebbie Inside 27 roadster 409? rear of T coupe in earlier shot Last one, Inside that A delivery Hopefully the law won't put an end to what was a great day. Can't wait for next year. Cheers and beers Jimbob |

Cool pics, Yeah, the law knew how to dampen the day by cracking down on people having a good time and enjoying Rat Day number 5.Do I need a permit to say that???
Other than the walking badges,it turned out a good day.I think I got some shots ........... |

Burgo took the trophy home this year with the T coupe. Sorry, but it and the roadster are 348's. The trophy has to be returned each year with a new addition bolted, welded or screwed on to it.As you can see from this photo,it is starting to get some weight. The other winners were Charlie for open (348 T roadster)and T.J for closed car(30 delivery).
