Need Good questions for Hot Rod Trivia

  1. We are putting on a car show this weekend with the chamber of comerce it is lampasas 20th or 21st ( i don't remember) annual car show and we are having hot rod trivia right before the awards. SO i am looking for good questions to ask. Of course i will need the right answers too. any help would be great

    Model 18... the “1” standing for “first” and the “8” for V-8 .. this was from wikpedia, so it could be wrong.

    Appletons was a brand name. like kleenex. somehow kleenex became the name for all tissues. and to a certain degree, so did appleton become the name for all spots

    On the top of a can of motor oil (showing my age-Back in the day, motor oil came in cardboard cans with metal top and bottom) or on the label of a plastic bottle of same, are some letters - API and SAE.

    API = American Petroleum Institute
    SAE = Society of Automotive Engineers
