I've always dug that car too. In fact, I have a 41 Packard club coupe. It's a fairly straight roller that I've slowly been collecting parts to resto rod (dual side mounts, etc.). Once I saw the Gable, I started having thoughts about doing mine as a roadster! I haven't been able to find much for photos.
His website once had a few in progress photos in the 'construction' area.
FWIW, the pic of the Jade Idol/model in the 'show car' section makes me drool! http://www.johndagostinokustomkars.com/images/56 Merc Jade Idol.jpg

What I know about it...it's a sexy bitch. Looks like what Darrin thought he was doing.

D'Agostino's customs are great, what a beautiful car. Sure looks like a 4o's movie star car to me.

D'Agostino has nice cars and ideas, but it was Oz of Oz Customs who actually built this and many of D'Agostino's other cars. Just FYI

Oz is the man, I've seen a few of his creations in Traditional Rod and Kulture, including Zombie's bitch'n longtop Buick.
