To each his own - I love that truck much more than a '56 anything! Didn't you have the wheels black for a while? Oh well, someone is a happy man today.
It was kinda too bad to break up the set. The roadster's still here, and is also for sale. (Dave Lindsay photo)
Sorry to see it go, but I guess that's how this hobby works most of the time. Got trade up somewhere. Always like that truck! Let's see more pics of the roadster!! I don't know this one! You should bring it to breakfast so I can drool!!
wow someone sure got a nice lookin 34! where did you advertise/sell it? i guess you'll be gaining some leg room with the 56. that also is a good lookin car. --- you didnt meet & marry some honey with 4 kids so now you need a back seat did ya?
You seem excited about it, so good for you! Nice to see somebody happy about selling something for a change! I get tired of all the "I sold my car it's the sadest day of my life post" The 56 looks like a sweet ride, what's the future plans for it?
It would be hard to let go of such a nice truck. I hope i'm a happy seller Sunday, I have a guy driving over to make a deal on my 37 Ford. New projects are fun, and I have 2 waiting.
I think you did right. Nice truck, but change is good too and the truck looked pretty much done and seems like you got your share in/out of it. The '56 has potential for the future. Keeping the shoebox?
Aye, aye, aye..... Good for you, but you're going to miss it! I'm sure you've got something cool in store for the '56.
In 2003 I sold an ugly twin to your 34, and I have regretted it every since ..I hope you got plenty.A pickup that straight is hard to come buy.
Goodguys Gazette. I married a honey and we have 4 kids (and 5 grandkids) but none of them are interested in my cars! Breakfast is a definite maybe. HB is a long haul for me in this car! Going to paint this month. The goal is a debut at "Paso Maria", but there's still an awful lot to finish. Here's a tease for the interior: Oh yeah. It's possible that this new one could replace it, but the 50/51 was done as the car for the rest of my life -- really nice work throughout -- and it'll be difficult to give it up.
Do you have any T-bird buckets yet, cause I have a set! PM me if you are interested. You're gonna miss that Pick-up!!!! I know I will......
I'm biased, but that truck has one of the most nicely detailed SBCs I've ever seen. It literally looks like it was lifted from a '55 chevy and stuck in the truck... Damn, I love that thing.
That is one cool tandem. I sell stuff I regret later but that one had to be hard to let go. Sweeeeeet.
Already have front and rear seats, and console. Thanks, Bob. Thanks, Ryan. I found an old Chevrolet press photo of an original '55 and thought it looked great, so Keith copied it beautifully.
OK, good. I was worried I might have to start digging around for my extra change plus robbing a bank to 2. Saves me the trouble of worrying about it for now.
Ain't that the way it is - so few of our kids are into the "gold mine" of great cars and legacy we have to offer them. Well, Riley and some others are fortunate to have kids and G-kids that dig this shit. I had girls. They are into cars - BMW's and Mercedes SUV's :-/ When I think of the cars I could have had with all that tuition money! LOL
Ya said none of the kids into the cars ya got... funny that is more common than ya think. I got a buddy you gots a duece which he was willing to give his son, but his son wanted a stock dodge dart. lame!!!
