Hot Dogs, Apple Pie, Baseball and Linda Vaughn.

No wonder America ruled the world.

I wonder what China will give us other than cheap and crappy rubbish?

Hmmmmmmm, wish it was the 60's and 70's again.

I don't remember if this has been posted yet. Linda with the late Tim Richmond:

she will be appearing at my Kirban Reunion event at my house August 20th in Kintnersville, PA which is probably the first time in sometime she has been this far east. Kintnersville is about 30 minutes from Warminster PA which was where Hurst was in the mid 1960s. We live near route 412 and 611.

Our event is unique a gorgeous country setting our son lives next door and has his body shop and has miniature horses great photo opportunity and no car show judging...Linda will be available for photos etc.

I will have several Hurst items for sale...and I am trying to get Bill Campbell to come as well. He is considering it. The man turns 90 this year...

Timing is perfect bring the July issue of Hot Rod for her to sign....

Although many of you on this forum may not know who I am among Hurst collectors I am very well known...

Doesn't look like much needed to be enlarged in this picture!

Concerning the Reunion with Linda Vaughn this August I have been in touch with several other original Hurst employees including one gentlemen who worked on the original prototype Hurst Olds project. He hopes to attend the event as well.

Few more updates as to where Linda is appearing...

Coming up next week MUSCLECAR MADNESS in York, PA July 8th and 9th. I will be assisting her at this event. From what I understand that Sunday July 10th she will be Beaver Springs Dragway located in Beaver Springs, PA. I will probably be there with her also.

Not sure at this time where she is between those dates and when she flies out for my Reunion event August 20th which we have mentioned takes place at our house in Kintnersville, PA roughly 20 mins north of Doylestown, PA> this even this not a judged car show but more of a relaxed setting in the country.

The next day sunday August 21st I will be with her at the 35th anniversary First Pennsylvania Mustang event this is a huge car show with over 30 different classes. Happens at the Southern Lehigh Living Memorial Park in Coopersburg, PA which is on route 309 in the heart of Coopersburg (south of Allentown, PA).

Once I see her next week I will get more information as to her plans for this summer and where she will be.

I was lucky enough to meet her a few years back in Elkton, Mn. She was very charming and really knew how to work the crowd...

Thanz to Mr AMC Guy for posting

Slightly off the topic but a small test to see if anyone has any ideas as to what make model year remainder this car panel is from. When we cleared the land to have our house built 6 years ago this was entangled in the undergrowth. The frame was too much trouble to move so we moved this panel and fender to the one entrance area.

I am guessing its 1930s vintage.....Any ideas readers?

I was with Linda last weekend at the York Muscle Car madness event Friday and saturday and then went with her to Beaver Springs Dragway. Once there at Beaver Springs dragway she was given a ride in this iris mist 1965 GTO convertible before we set up our tables.

She currently has a broken foot which happened at Indy back in May.

I'm sure she'll be at the U.S. Nationals as well.

"Iris Mist," huh? I had a a '65 Corvair that color. Chevrolet called it "Evening Orchid."
