Just thought I'd drop in to say I spoke with Linda Vaughn - the iconic Miss Hurst Golden Shifter - last week to finalize the full page ad design next to the inside back cover of the August issue of Cruis'news with her picture. I'll try to attach it here - I don't think I saw this photo posted on this thread.

I am sure she'd be delighted if any/all of you here would stop by Booth-Arons' open house at Berkley CruiseFest 2009 where she will be Grand Marshal and say hello. She really is incredible, a rare combination of beauty (in every way), brains, and just an extraordinarily nice and lovely person. But y'all knew that already.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Linda at events over the years. She will always take the time and talk to everyone. She's a beautiful person inside and out.

In the early 90's I met Linda at the Novi (MI) Motorsports Hall of Fame & Museum. I was working as a volunteer at that time. She was VERY gracious considering all the requests for pictures. I even got to be in one of them. I'll have to dig it out.
