I think if Linda wouldn't have found her way to the track she'd have been a Vegas showgirl. She had enough presence and energy anyway. I'm talking about the kind that people talk about for 30 years, not the trashy ones.

That '70 Chrysler 300 "hurst" was restored back in the 80's here in Louisville. My friend Bob Dupin was spearheading the resto. A couple days after it was completed [and before it was shipped off to it's owner in Tn.] Me and him double-dated in it with our girlfriends... Unfortunately, neither of our GF's were quite as cute as Linda! LOL

Ms Linda a class act then and now. These photos were taken back in the seventies. I had the pleasure of seeing her again last year in Atlanta at Dick Brannon's get together and she is still as sharp and friendly as ever. She took time out of her autograph signing to come over and sit in our golf cart and sat with and talked for sometime to a friend of mine who had just lost a lower leg to diabeties after a fall. I will post those when I find the disc again.

Man, there's a ton of pics I don't think I've ever seen before! Incredible stuff! It's amazing some of the stuff you guys come up with! She is truly one of the beauty's of drag racing, and as someone said, she's quite a businesswoman. I heard her in a radio interview one time a few years back, and I think she said she had one of every Hurst Olds ever produced, but she had recently sold off most of her collection. I think those are probably some of the earliest camel-toe photo's in auto-history as well! Yikes!
