Alex rules! I worked at his shop Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and today (Sunday). He continued to put in extra effort this week and weekend. Thanks for spending another weekend with me on the car! Tell Suzie thanks too!
Anyway... On Wednesday we got the hood center and trunk lace put on. Friday I spent the day installing Hushmat for an upcoming tech piece in the Gazette. It was pretty easy and came out pretty well. Saturday Alex sprayed the remaining hood and trunk lace and we laid out the driver's side panels. Today we laid out the passenger side. We were pretty anal about it and I think it will show in the final product. Stay tuned this week for the sprayed side panels and the completed lace panels (candy covering and fades). Wednesday... Friday... Before: After: Saturday... A lot of time was spent on the cold floor. Our set of circle templates. One side laid out. Sunday... More layout. More cold floor.

I've been on here 10 minutes and have looked at this thread and Plowboys, I think I'm going to give up building cars and go and read childrens books instead from now on, sooooooo much talent on here today.

Wow-One of a kind, no belly button ride. What show are you aiming for to show it off in public? Is Alex doing a calendar pose on the ground, and is that his pay on the ground next to him? (Just kidding).
Looks like you are going to really celebrate the New Year in style. |
