Well.....Onward and upward.... or sit down and Shhhaadup.
Here is the result of the headers.... Really captures the feeling and look I was after....
A early-mid 60's flare..... The Candyman rocks my world.Neil ....you are a SUPREME fabricator.....

A pictorial.....I want real Altered/race look.....I wanted to use oil canisters from a flathead.. just like the old days...But car ones(I feel) are to short and stunted.
    Truck ones are perfect......
the pipes need final metal finishing.....but you get the picture.

    Thanks guys.
The finish has not been decided yet....I found a place that can ceramakote in white.... but I need to see some samples.
I would love to chrome them..... but I suspect the cost would be outrageous.

I have not made any solid decisions yet....but I better freaking hurry.

I might be mistaken but I thought I heard that the white coating cost more than the chrome/silver coating. I could be wrong though.

Appleseed/ I got a pretty reasonable quote of $375. I felt that was not too bad.....
I can hardly wait to here plating prices........

here are some new floor shots....Major problems with the other one. Had to start over.... and I gained 3 inches in head room.Thats a ton in a channeled car.

My best friend is a cabinet maker and a master of wood.He is prepping the Tiger Maple inlay wood boards for the bed.
This material is EXTREMLEY tuff and hard.
The finish will have a orange candy glow.... should be snazzy. All the strips are cut and ready.

All the paint has been aquired and prep should begin during the Christmas break.
Gonna proceed with 1952 Ford Coral Flame and a 1958 Colonial white.

I agree. Those pipes are STUNNING, jaw dropping even. To do them in white would almost be a slap in the face, like you got lazy or confused and just SETTLED.

Now I get what you were after. Those look so bad assed! Love the cut outs and all.

An old guy once told me: "If it don't go, Chrome it!"

I bet that Goes but I'd still Chrome it!!

    Yep...I hear y'all...
Going chrome has got nothing to do with anything but cost.....It will truly be my first choice.
People mention about blueing of chrome....I kinda like it....proves that you use it.
As mentioned.... cost is the major factor....and time.I am on a schedule and I don't know if I have the time to save the amount of Dollars needed.

I must be part crow. cause I am really drawn to shiny stuff.

    We will see.
