I am sure that this has been done before, but I can't find it if it has. I am getting ready to paint my 50 Fleetline over this winter. I am looking for insiration. Plan to use Hot Rod Faltz Daytona Blue Pearl for the base color and then maybe the Silver Sled Metallic for the flames. Wanting to go the length of the body with kind of a rippling effect. Just looking for some pics of all kinda different flame jobs. Also, i have never shot the Hot Rod Flatz. I kinda figured it might spray about like Urethane primer, but I had a friend that says when he sprayed it on his car is was really thin and easy to run when you mix it according to the instruction. Just looking for some ideas, motivation, and advice. EvilKazeevil
Here's some pics of the Flames on my Henry J, there are alot better flame jobs on this board might look at Bad Bob's for a more traditional set of flames too.
This is kinda the look I am going for yet still different. I know some more of you guys have flamed eides. Lets see soem pics. EvilKazeevil
Here`s some simpler ones I did on my Willys. All done in DP primer with red pin stripes separating the colors.
Here's what I got in the files with flames.....and no...none are mine, and I didn't take any of the pics.
