That looks like a stock head by looking at the valvecover(stock chromed) and possibly Hilborne injection or Algon?

I am with you on that one. The Boss head would have had the intake and exhaust ports on the opposite sides of the head. I guess that this was an earlier version of the car.

must have been pretty common for the inliner crowd...i have a magazine article somewhere , showing a hemi head being built for a 6 banger.... a lot of heating done.... shot below is from my collection. even has the corvette finned valve cover... brandon

I ran my B/G '55 Chevy in NoCal in the early & mid '70s. (Fremont, Sacramento, Vaca Valley, Redding) Ran into Bob Bunker, Leroy "Mighty Mouse" Philson often. They, along with Kenny Dondero (Panella Trucking Anglia) were my heroes. It was all four speeds back then. Slick shifters, they were.
