That's "Stormin" Norman Weekly at Pomona. The frantic Four car left like that more often that not, and Norman never lifted. The Chevy pst truck in the back ground is the one they use today at cacklefests.

Any early pictures of Dyno Don's early S/S cars with Jardine Headers? Late '50's-very early sixties? Would love to have you and your father post some on the S/S-F/X thread.

I had no doubt about the wheelstand, The picture just looks kind of pixelated. And the angle of the engine to the chassis was a bit drastic.

Shedlik also did the paint on the Gate Job funny car driven by Pete Gates. Shedlik did a great job painting.
