These are not from the VA Drag Strips website. These are photos that were given to me years ago from a guy who knew my favorite classes are Stock and S/S. All he wanted to keep was the ones of dragsters.

Could those be early PID , Pittsburgh photos?

Eldorado's last pass was at Bluegrass Dragway in Lexington early 70's resulting in a fatality for the driver.

Turbines for power, runs 8.24 at 181 MPH..getting a little air over your feet..(!)


Offenhauser runs 181 MPH. 8.37 E.T.
