How could I have missed this club? I'm definitely in! Four unfinished piles o crap in my garage right now. Well, one is still in the remote office location (barn lot). My fresh SBC is still on the engine stand I bolted it to in 1989. That's depressing.
Check my albums for pics. The way OT project shows the most promise at the moment. |

There is a cure. It is called the 2 bolt rule. Everytime you go to the garage work on at least two bolts or do two things no matter how small. Coming from a long line of procrastonaters I fought my way back to the good life using this rule and have now finished several projects. It is amazing how much better it goes with this rule. Even when you are standing there saying to yourself I can do that anytime , it doesnt matter right now just pick up a tool and do it.

Just traded these 30 roadster doors and cowl for this 32 truck project. In the meantime the other roadster is busy draining my wallet while I build the chassis for it.

Looks like I might be in that club. I got a T Bucket 8 years ago. The story with this is it was a Car Craft Magazine monthy build car in 1967. A friend of my dads started the car in 1967, had hand made the chassis and body following the magazine each month. He fitted a 303 Old motor and box, a was well on the way to have it finished, until 1969 he got married and his wife won't let him go out in to the shed and work on it. When I got the T bucket it had been sitting outside and water had gotten into the motor, so I pulled the motor out and have put the T bucket in the shed.

Started project in 1971 - Won IHRA Summner Nats doing a new thing to Ohio called , "Bracket Racing." Fast forward to 1984 I was flat towing it to Ca. behind a 10 foot Ford box van with a 302.....wheeeez.....and a dipstick in Indiana rear ended me in a snow storm at about 20 mph. Enough to put a big F'un dent in the back that's still not fixed.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() One of these days......fix the dent. Put the chrome back on. It has 63,000 orig miles. |
