We've all seen the 40 Mercs( Matranga etc.) done full custom and '41 Fords (Jesse Lopez's) too...but I can't remember seeing many '41 Mercs...anyone got picts? Something along these lines...Barris, Westergard etc.
The Kenedy brothers did thos gorgeous 41 Coupe... Rob Radcliffe photo... ARCHANGEL photos KustomBuick photo
I remember a nice '41 Merc 4dr that was done by Valley Custom. Very low, no skirts, frenched '52-54 headlights. Tasty! Can't find a picture, though.
i don't much like the 41's, i think the 40 is just about as perfect as a car can get but that Kenedy coupe is quite nice.
Bill DeCar built this one for himself whyle he worked for Barris... And Barris built this one for Bob Tormey. Convertible with Padded top and full Fade away fenders. Grille comes from a Lincoln... built in the 40's Hal Peterson's convertible...
Rik, you are a marvel! I looked at your site first, thinking that you would probably have a picture of this car. I looked under both "Valley Custom" and "Mercury customs", but never found them. I think the '41 Merc front end is the prettiest of all the '41-'48 Ford/Merc variations.
Rikster, you rule! I love that one that the Kennedy Bros. did...I drooled over it for an hour at Paso, but had no camera. The Bob Torme coupe is just right! Thanks for posting em. Timebomb- Maybe... Any more?
Hey Ron, I got a framed picture of the Bill Decarr Merc sittin' on my mixing bench at work......people ask " is that your's, did you build it?" "Nope" I says," but it's on my list!" Swankey Devils C.C.
Nope, the " Iron Maiden" is a '54 model. Swankey Devils C.C. " Let he who has no shit on his sandals be the first to cakewalk on the faces of we the sheep" - Robert Williams-
