Though I know this is an old post, but I have another question for hillbillyhell. You used a F100 Ranger box, but you mentioned early on about a 2002 box. Did you try that and it didn't work? Or did you just decide to find another box? Just wondering. ThanksMRAK
I actually studied that one a lot when I was thinking of doing a cowl steering. It's one of my favorite techs!
I just purchased a BMW 2002 box and it looks like it will work and its an aluminum case, I read his post to mean they were hard to find.
Sorry for being the stupid one in the room, but can someone show me a finished cowl steering set-up? (For some reason, the last picture in the article didn't come up.) I do not know why you would want to do this in the first place. Thanks for your gentle guidance!! Patrick McLoad
