RC from the pics, that garage is insane. Reminds me of this old guy Jimmie Davis' place here in Austin. He has since passed, but that's where we got all our NOS stuff for all the early motors, brakes, clutches, etc, ect. Could easily build multiple cars w/ the stuff on the shelves. It went forever and he knew where ever part was located. He'd go back in the bowels of that garage w/ a flashlight that barely worked and come back w/ your part in the original box. And it was all in his garage next to his house in S. Austin. Man I miss him. The ranch looks amazing and I have heard the stories, so now I believe it from the looks. Oh, I wish I was there. Tell Vern and Keith howdy and keep writing so I have something to drool over each night before I go to bed...........BTW, Franco is now an official Austin resident......arrived last night w/ everything. The Bug is in town !!!

Wheres the video you computer guru!!! i want to hear this crisp running flattie. I've been to air races in Reno before and the roar of those planes in very distracting. Cool day. Again better than the headache I had at my job. When does the Tardel bottled hot rod euphoria come out?

Ryan--an idea based on your old "two ammo cans" posting: Take a picture of Vern's '32 roadster traveling tool and subsistence kit!
This was covered once loong ago in the old American Rodder (in Bishop days...) and I think it would interest a lot of people here!

Yeah Ryan, I agree with the rest of these guys. That is an really cool opportunity and YOU are one lucky son of a bitch. I need to find me an educator of sorts to teach me the ins and outs in North Carolina. I can't tell you how jealous I am. Keep us updated.

This really is too cool, I have seen this on the Tardel website. But have been too busy to inquire. Anybody else done the Flathead Ranch. I have a new project and am thinking about doing this next year, would love to build my own motor.......
