5 bolts on a 4 3/4" circle, same for most Chevy passenger cars from 1949 to 90s. Some big cars use 5 on 5" circle, wagons, El Caminos, and such.

While we're on the topic, I'm looking for 2 steel wheels with that lug pattern that will accept full hub caps. Anyone know where to get some?(cheap)

The problem on 49-54 Chevys isn't the rim accepting the cap, any cap of the proper size fits stock 49-54 rims. But the front spindles poke way out of the narrow rims on the front, so a lot of caps won't clear it.

53-54 Chevy fit; 58-62 Rambler fit, and anything else with a deep peak to them.

As for rims, any yard should have them; and you can probably pick between 14" and 15" if you poke around a little.

Do you know the backspace needed to eliminate the spindle problem for new set of chrome wheels on a 54chevy.
