Finally - Finally - Finally,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the much anticipated 'first-drive', has been completed. After fighting all week/end with brake issues, bought another master cylinder today, and that fixed things. Ran her through the gears on jackstand, made some linkage udjustments, and rolled it out of the damn garage. And I gotta say, it looks a helluva lot better outside, than buried in the garage, as it has been for the last 2 years. Looks like the HAMB Drags are a very good likelyhood, now. I gotta thank the Torques guys, and a bunch of buds, to get this thing from nekkid frame 5 weeks ago, to a runnin'/drivin' truck. Still got some issues, but that is what this weeks is for, RIGHT? Thanks guys, and ya know who ya are. It's a short vid, but have more to come. I'm tired, and will post more tomorrow. Damn 2:75 gears will embarass ya every time.

awesome ken!!!!!! can't wait to see it at pistons and paint!!! but......where do the reindeer hook up to it??
Well Congratulations! Looks great Ken. I know how hard you have been working on it. That first drive makes it all worth it. Cool truck! Sets perfectly. No sound here but will hear it when I get home.
The part where the cameraman is running by the house reminded me of "COPS". The truck looks great Ken! Congrats!
Looks good Ken..When are you leaving for the drags??I'm leaving Thursday morn stopping by Rusty's on the way up..
Ken, too cool!!!!! I am so excited for you, I know it has been a long tough road but you made it through it and learned alot. Gonna be cool seeing it cruise down the track in Mokan. Rusty
We definatley need to make a HAMB X-mas card with Santa doing a burn-out in Da tirdy tree. Hey Matt... we had Riendeer hooked up to the truck and was going well until ken found the gas pedal and ran them flat ass over. And worse thig about is i had to dig the burrial holes Hehehehhe
Thanks guys, I appreciate the kudo's. This thing called the H.A.M.B., is downright cool. Wealth of knowledge, folks helping other folks they have never met, and may never meet. Buyin' parts from folks on here, to complete your project, and selling stuff for the same reason. Thanks to Ryan and all the folks behind the scenes. It is a great feeling to run it through the gears. Now, we get to focus on the 'bugs'. Should be in Joplin just after lunch, and ready for some bar-b-que, and some Shiners. Bring on the midget bowling.
Man, that's a SWEET truck Ken, congratulations!! First drives are better than Christmas Day, yeah? As soon as you get it back from Santa you're gonna have one helluva good time in it.
Congrats Ken! Looks and sounds great. I know I wasn't much help that night I came over, but it sure was fun having a beer or 3 and shootin' the shit. I'm (hopefully) about 3 weeks away from having the Fairlane up and running again.
I missed this one untill today, don't know how. That's awesome Ken!!! I'm very envious. See you at the drags!
