cool post ryan, i've skimmed past that car a few times also......i think it gets overlooked because its a coupe and a 5 window at that! i have a friend with an unrestored race car from the late 40's with the same fuel pressure system its a dirt track 33 coupe with all kinds of aircraft surplus parts.... Wow. Very Cool! I think that's the first time I've actually seen one of those air tanks used in an old hot rod. I've heard of them being used and sold a couple here on the HAMB -- so, it's nice to see an actual use.... Thanks! Malcolm

Definitely a cool post. It's always nice to see the influence and ingenuity of aviation being used on the rods when they got back. Is that the air tank behind the seat?
