I'll be there! Prolly bring the '58 if its going to rain. 10am? Jeeze thats kinda early dont'cha think? Joking! Anything going on Friday night?
Yeah, I can't do those California show 6:00am starts...haha...I need my rest. Show of course will be going Friday 'til 10:00pm. not sure what's going on after. Unknown Hinson are playing Thursday night at the Continental and we have a big Saturday after show party going on at the Meridian with a bunch of bands. Marcy
The weatherman ain't always right. This is Texas, wait a few minutes and the weather will change again.
Myself and the Highway HorrorS will be there, rain or shine (I'll be on the turdblo bike, so's I'm hoping for "shine")
Had a damn good time at Live Fast this year. Thank you Marcy for bring it back to Houston. The weather cooperated and got to see a lot of the Texas Rodders, and cant wait to see everyone again Sept 8th at Burnout. So heres some of the pics I took. Jeff Whitelys Chevy Adrian & Jeffs Chevys Los Cochinos Kool exhaust treatment! Dig that headlight treatment! Hmmm, all I could think about was Plowboys ass errrr Lunar Landers ass after seeing this. I love this bitchen Chevy. It gave me some motivation and inspiration on the one Im doing for my dad. Those all over Tejas know this car, and no matter how many times I see it I still love it. MMMM, Martian Cadillac breather This is going to be one sick sick sick kustom when it gets done. I was droolin And the panel & flake job on the dash I hope is a sign of things to come on the outside.
My 58 laying around. 59 Caddy 4 do that has it going on. Still under restoration but very tasteful! And the start of the interior. Brilliant bad ass Merc! Couldnt help but snap this grill shot showing off the bare metal fab work on it. Mark Truitts Scalloped Ford is a favorite of mine, and I dont like Fords.
Tina Collins Chevy Jeremy Nobs Techy showed up with fresh paint on his chopper. And he was looking for a striper at the show to make it all pop. Thomas Speedaddict was there with his fam, his car and all of the BodyLines gear. Great to see you again man, wish it was more than a couple times a year. Inside lighting was horrible, but heres John Joyos Merc pickup. A handful of the South Austin guys were there to pimp the shop. There are some killer things in the works at SASS, and Im excited about that future. The latest out from under Fat Luckys needle. Someone getting their licks on! If youre not from Texas you wouldnt understand. Bet its fast! Killer rod, and another example of 35 wires make anything open wheel look tits!
A couple of months ago before my little Bro got shpped to Japan, Scott laid down a bad ass little tat for him. Dude can pick and stick.
I,d like to thank all the people at the LiveFast show that donated money to help my fellow club member Teddy from the Hoodlums in Denver. And I,d really like to thank Fri,Melissa,Jimmy,Beth and Marcy from doing all the work and organising things in Houston. Thanks a bunch Aussie Steve
Man I was there and it the best! Love these photos and added to the ones I took. Great show and great crowd. Also inside there was an artist doing "traditional tats" I forgot to pick up his card - did anyone who when there get the guys name and business ?- his work was increduble.
I asked that on Saturday. Never saw an owner, then next thing I knew he was gone, and it was pretty damn early.
lookin good marcy, closest i came to getting down there this year was some art @ nate b's after gig at the new shop. see you @ hell city?
oh ok , i really wanna know who cut the glass for him... I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of my front plexi windshield
<HR style="COLOR: #999999" SIZE=1> <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> It's never been down the strip, but it does wild burnouts!
first time to make it there my bro smitty has been to all of them and he was right (damn old people are always right) GREAT SHOW!!! looking forward to it next year.
The weather held out and there was plenty of hot rods and bikes to see. I'm glad my little brother dusted off "The Wild Indian" and brought it to the show. Lots of HAMB folks there and probably didn't meet even half of them. I had a good time and now I'm ready for the Bayou City Burnout! Richard D where were you?
