Lord March & the SCTA put on a stunning display to recreate the Salt Flats on the lawns of his cricket pitch last weekend. Shame the weather couldn'e emulate it too !

Neat. What did they use to simulate the salt?

Was just trying to think of the name of that girlie biker who used to be 'our' BARC marshall.....? Oh yes, happy days indeed. Might just have to make a return pilgrimage back there next year, Dave.

AAHH, Goodwood. I was there in 2001 with our Camaro prostock in a dragracing display, doin' burnouts. The audience loved it with a 5 00 cuin revvin up and let the smoke out. The Formula 1 guys thought we stole the show and tried to do the same smokey burnouts, BUT they couldn't. Actually one car(belived it was a Renault) destroyed their very expensive gear box. Hehehe... We got a price for best in show. Great place, even greater show. Need to go to the circuit racing one day.

The Redhead is my favorite Bonneville car. Good to see it out and about. Great pictures.
