I was fortunate to be able to go to the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart 2 weeks ago. Highly recommended if you ever get to that part of the world.
Here's a couple of shots to add to the collection. The last 2 shots are of the chassis under the winged car. Yes it has 6 wheels, was designed for a 3,000hp engine that was never installed. Car was originally targeted for 300+ but WWII interrupted the plans to run at Bonneville and the car was hidden away. |
