I would like to thank everyone that Kruized up to Dewey last weekend. The
town and the whole community were impressed with turn out for this years
show. The downtown merchants are very thankful because it is their busiest
time of the year. You guys know, I love small town Americana and its important that we keep these small town business rollin.

Besides being the biggest turn out we've ever had we had more HAMBers
then I can remember. Thank you for your friendship.

This year I was able to take some pictures. A friend of mine took some
awesome pictures. We have a bunch more that will be posted on our web
site. Here is some of the highlights.......

B-Scott Studios did a kick ass job on this years event shirt and has to be one
of the baddest Merc shirts ever....... Thanks Rick for allowing your Merc to
    pose for us.

I still think l'l Mike said it best..."Dewey is not a car show. It is a party and a car show breaks out."

    Thanks again!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

I'm so thankful over the past years to be able to meet so many Kool guys &
Gals. One of them that I've enjoyed over the years watching is Don & Brigit.
I thought that we were just friends but it turns out we've become kustom
    family. My Kustom Family pic........

Friday I took the guys out to Prairie Song. We had 28 Hot Rods and kustoms
cruize out to one of the kooleset little village in the mid-west. checkout
their web site www.prairiesong.com The Hot Rods looked kool driving down
    the pastor road.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

...something screwy here. The website claims they're in Valley Center Ks. That's up past Wichita. Dirty2 (Danny) told me that hand-built little old west town was just a few miles from dewey??? I wanna go up and see this place...how do i get there?

VooDoo Jim stole (borrowed) McPhails '56 Chevy with Fink'd Jeff Myers running
blocker in the Galaxie. Thanks guys!!

You all peg'd the Kool meter when you kruised into town.

Hot Rod Lincon not more Like Hot Rod Merc. You don't have to chop a
Merc to be Kool. Merc looked good with louvered up Hood and trunk.

    Hey Robin,

Don't tell anyone but the show really sucked!! I'm just trying
to make it sound good because I want guys to come back next year.

    Is that better??

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

  10. Mick, the wife and I ran through really quickly and I didn't want to bother you so I didn't call. It was a fantastic show. Lots of neat stuff to look at. It sucked because I was wearing my brace and I couldn't crawl all over the cars like I normally do. The black coupe with all the airplane stuff (I know the owner is on here, I just can't remember who it is) just made me drool every time I walked past it. Thanks for the great show.

Mick, thanks for hosting the best time anywhere. Seeing you, Duke, Connie, Jari, Kroeber, Nodine, and everyone else makes me want to move back to B-ville.

Ron Myers kept me laughing all weekend. All the way home I watched the sky for those big green arrows that could take out a house!

The thing that makes the SK500 is the perfect combination of the right cars and the people.

    Thanks!

    JK at the SK500??

Kool, I was hoping that you made it up. You should have hollered, I'm never
to busy to talk. 32Larry is the one that owns the bad Coupe. Lookout it is
going to be on next year's shirt. Don't tell Larry. I want to surprise him with it.....

Still Praying that your back will heel up quick so you can get back on the
    road.

    Happy Trails,

Thanks Duncan for helping us out with the blessing of the rides. Your one of the Koolest guys I know.

I was watching the weather last night and those big green arrows can scare some one to death. I have to laugh everytime I watch the weather.

The other quote is the guy at the QT thinking that it was a new idea by putting spot lights on a car..... Woops, I let the kat out of the bag. Sorry....

Two of the Koolest Hot Rods that everyone was talling about........

The roadster is part volkswagon and 60's ford Pickup fender wells. Very Kool!!

You could not get a clear picture of this wild Hot Rod. The ultimate
compliment was the Harness brothers were hangin around it all weekend.

    That all for know........

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

So, I'm glad I didn't show up then...driving down the "pastor" road would've been too much for me...were there a lot of churches on that road??? Wonder why they didn't name it "Preacher's" road then...???

Absolutely Mick...it is my pleasure to help upgrade the "quality" of the HAMB by questioning those awful misspelled words...bet you'll never make that misteak...ehrrrr, uhm...mistake again, eh?

It just slays me the bad spelling anywhere these days, not just on the HAMB...I do what I can to correct the situation...

This year's event poster, they were the koolest ones to date.

The City of Dewey wanted them made and passed out all over town. So I
put them together. I had two of my spell checkers check them out. I had 100 of them printed and passed out a few of them. That night the ribbon
cutting committee caught that I miss spelled the word ribbon. It was too
late to change it so I rocked on. The local bank wanted to advertise on their
digital sign so I dropped off a poster. I had "STRAT KAT 500" on the top of the poster.

Oh well, I got the date right..........

    Mick,

Troy (scrape) and I had a blast, even with having generator problems (black '63 Merc) ! We just ended up rigging it up and thankfully it made the 4-5 hour trip home without a single hiccup !! Whew ! *wipes sweat from forehead*

Thanks again for putting on this awesome show ! This was the first year we got to go to this show and it more than met my expectations--it by far surpassed them !! We DEFINITELY plan on being there next year !

    Hey, Mickey,

I had a blast the short I was there. I thought the quality was up, and as always we owe you a heap of thanks. Also, it was good talking with Danny, his new coupe was too cool. (Certain friendships developed at events like this are priceless) Had to leave early to get back to work on the two projects. Again, thanks again for a great event.
