I thought I would post a couple of pic of a 29 Tudor I just built a hood for. I like the stance of this car.

I like that way that car sits too. Those front wheels are awsome...must be OG sears mags or someting.

Those front wheels look like throwaway "Donut" spares. I'm not sure you're supposed to mount regular tires on those things at all.

They're probably just roll-arounds, relax. The hood is AWESOME! Good job.

    Superb job!

It does have a nice rake to it, but why didn't you slice that roof while you were at it? :)

Wonder how that front end is sprung?

  10. Very nice! Two questions:
Does it have the same torsion-bar front suspension as Lee Osborn's '29 hiboy tub?
Do you know what size the rear wheels/tires are?

    Thanks,
    Gary

Yes, In fact he owns Lee's old tub. I didn't pay attention to the rear tire size.
BTW, the front tires and wheels are roll-arounds.

The stance is killer. This should be a cool rod when finished. I hope it ends up more traditional & not too smooth.

I thought that was Dave Wilders car. I remember seeing it at The Greeks shop when he was doing the chassis work. Killer stance.

The fellow who owns this car is about 6'4' or so. I imagine thats why he has not wacked the top.

The front end is a torsion bar set up.

Unfortunately I will guess this car will end up pretty smooth and allot less traditional. I could be wrong but thats my guess.

Super looking 29. It is nice to see something other than a Deuce! Stance is everything when building a car.

Yeah dave owns both lees old tub and now he is building the sedan same chassis set up, just like the tub but with a roof, he said he was tired of getting his ass wet. Keeping both so when it dont rain.
