Anyone got any suggestions for a good cam grind profile for a 230 inch flatty? I intend to give the engine a .030"/.030" combo off the head & block to raise the compression, split exhaust manifold and twin standard carbs. Its in an Aussie 54 Dodge sedan.

Thanks - Hokey Asses... BTW, whats the origin of the term Hokey Ass?

    Thanks

Try doing a google search on Edgy cams. They grind cams for the Dodge/Plymouth L-head engines (218 & 230). He also makes a new cast aluminum head ($650 or so). The guy was very nice when I contacted him awhile ago. Plus, he runs a 230 in his rod so he has experience with the engines and knows his stuff.
