Oh yeah, that is awesome!!
I watched a guy in a Bucket do something similar, not quite as much smoke, followed by a loud bang and copious amounts of steam. Blew the top radiator tank apart.

That "ratrod" is a local car here in Melbourne, always does really well in burnout comps but you guys are kidding about the best burnout thing arent you?
I'll dig up some vids of REAL burnouts for you then. |

Personally, since the quarter mile smoke runs of the 60s, a stand on the brakes and gas it burnout just don't do much for me.

Back in school a friend of mine enetered his car in the burnout contest at the local dragstrip. 225 Electra with a blown rear brake line.
He smoked the tires relentlessly - at first it started to sound like a railroad car - tick tick tick after several minutes he started to wear down to the steel belts - the noise was the steel belts - he of course continued - after another minute or so the rear tries LITERALLY burst into flames. It was spectacular. Needless to say I belive he won that night!
