We'll ...i couldn't wait to post this one!
This is a graphic done by a great artist and friend who's name is Dirty Donnie from San Francisco. I spoke with him up at the Cow Palace show about coming up with a cool graphic idea for my next Pro signature model For Powell skateboards and he agreed to do one for me... i was stoked. I told Donnie i wanted a dragon driving the Coupe-De-Cab ... after going back and forth on a few sketch changes, this is what he came up with ![]() ![]() I know Alex Gambino will be stoked when he sees this and it's finally produced because it's been a long time waiting for another hotrod graphic to come out with the new Gold color change on my coupe! I'll let ya'll know when it comes available for those who missed the first run of hotrod decks we put out that people missed out on the first time. Best wishes and enjoy, CAB

What a cool design!! Love the use of the Powell Dragon and the Road Zombies CC plate!
I just watched "The Search for Animal Chin" on Fuel TV last week. What a flash back! A young Steve, hang'n with Lance Mt, Tony H, Tommy G, and destroying (cut the tail fins off) a great late 50's four door Caddy so that skateboards could stick out of the trunk! Fun times. Jon |

Just got the letters on this. Customer wanted plain white, nothin' fancy. Looks better than I thought it would.
Owner is a very nice older biker dude, who of course is "Mott, The Mad Mouse Man" Probably going to put a little accent striping to finish it off but gotta wait for some of the paint to dry. Leather is really unforgiving when you smear the paint. lol. Cab, amazing design on the deck. Tingler, You just keep raising the bar. I'm jones'n to see mine! Sander, Love the 'triceretops!" Great show everyone!!!! GV

Got to agree with Big Dirty. Love the B&W treatment, and the subject matter is a classic. (Although I liked Hoppers bike better.)

I don't have much to contribute this week just more feeble samples of some pinstriping that I am practicing on. These are efforts 3 and 4 using actual 1 Shot supplied by Vance here on the HAMB. #1 was pretty crude. #2 was much better, and now 3 and 4. I know it pales compared to the masters on the friday show but it sure has been fun.

Cab, thanks for sharing that! Donny is the man!
Tingler.... man... too cool! Robin, every week you knock my socks off! Everyone, GREAT show again this week! I've got something old, and something newer... The green '55 was for a fellow HAMB'ers (Skirv) brother (and a super-cool guy all around!)... while not exactly traditional, it employs plenty o'traditional tricks to achieve the look... ![]() ...and THIS Chevy, which is an older piece, which is a bit more traditional... ![]() Again, veryone.... outstanding work again this week!

nice stuff this week everybody, I got a few new things photo'd this week...I'll start with my WW2 Lancaster bomber nose art that I finished up. The "ruhr express" was the first Lancaster built here in Canada in '43. It crashed and burned returning from it's 49th mission.

A few weeks ago, I put down the tattoo machines long enough to push some paint around, for a change. Felt pretty good. A dash for one of the Barons members, Johnny Boracho.

So cool to see you painting. I know lately with the tattoo thing going on I hadn't been seeing a lot of your stuff. I figured you were busy and not painting so much......Don't ever give it up completely. You are a giant inspiration to me. I love the different colors on the rose.....nice! I also dig your lettering....its always way cool! Toyghoul. Whats up with the duck?!? I dig it. It says to me, "I'm crazy and will stripe anything". Typikal, Wow. Very nice work.

Some really great stuff on here. Love the pinstripe shoes. Again, all oil on canvas. The Cadillac is the largest at 36x42".

Toyghoul How long did that duck hold still? Cause I tried to grab one from a nearby pond and it did NOT want to hold still whilst I shot some flake on it. Whats your secret?

Thanks Tingler...I'm still painting, every once in a blue moon. Wes, at BullDog Skates, and Jason, at FlyRite, keep my striping brush wet...but that dash was the first decent sized "painting" I've done in a long time. I can't keep up with you celebrity artists!

I don't know if this constitues art, or just a waste of space. But here's a couple CT's I did for my wife. This lady is so good to me, she let me do a murial on one whole wall in the living room. Did our rdst. a 48 Aero, tikibar, some palm trees, totally looks like a 4 year old did it! Lost interest! Don't know how to save it. Maybe Mcphail could stop by on his way down to the Roundup, or Weesner, and maybe Von Franco, could take the northern route in from the west and come by here! LOL Sad thing is, they probably couldn't save it. I am just no artist. But I love striping shit. Thanks for your attention.

RYAN, Flyin'P, SINCLAIR,DANKYD, JANNE, GREAT STUFF. TINGLER I LOVE THE DETILS, MAN! SOME OF MY FAVORITES SO FAR. YOU'RE SO DANG PROLIFIC IT AMAZES ME. SOOOO MUCH WORK, SOOO MANY DETAILS, SOOOO DEFTLY HANDLED. IT'S AN HONOR, SIR. LATE TO THE PARTY THIS WEEK. I TRIED TO FINISH A COLOR PENCIL RRAWING BUT RAN OUT OF FRIDAY. IN THE MEAN TIME HERE'S A COUPLE OLD SKETCHES. THE MONTE, WHILE O.T., IS MY NEPHEW'S #2 HOT ROD PROJECT (THE 1ST WAS AN '86 SS, THIS ONE'S AN '88) IT'S HARD TO TWEEK THESE BOXES INTO SOMETHING APPEALING. THE INSPIRATION STARTED WITH A SKETCH OF THE HEAD LIGHTS AND GREW FROM THERE. ![]() THIS COUGAR WAS DONE BACK IN '84 WHEN I WAS MESSING WITH SOME DIFFERENT STYLES...

Late to the party, sorry.
A little background. I haven't picked up a pencil since I quit college 7 years ago. You guys inspired me to pick it up. Started this about 7PM tonight... it's 7:35 now. just a fun sketch, real loose, shitty digital so it doesn't come across that great.... and I'm nervous as hell puttin this here with all this other great work. Maybe I can contribute more, better stuff next week. Thanks for lookin Joe
