Default Another "Save this old iron" post!

I'm a sucker for these posts. Here's one from autoshopcrusader from the 'Ol Skool forum today, reproduced in all it's glory. Call me a softie - the pictures and story moved me.

Is that old red Jimmy a Napco 4wd? Or is it a homegrown hillbilly hillclimber. Maybe just has no engine.

Only 50.00 a car? That just adds insult to injury.
Then again, maybe it won't take much more than that to drag some steel away.

Seeing as how my part of the world is a tad on the frozen, white scale of things at the moment, where are these pictures taken? It looks like it could be the the moon (dark side).

All the good stuff is always too far away. Those look brand new compared to the stuff down here.

A few years ago near King City, California a guy had about 100 old cars sitting way out in the country way out of sight. The county flew over and spotted them then notified him that the cars all needed to be crushed because they were an eye sore and a blite on the county. The word got out and car guys were coming from all over and buying full and complete cars for $100 buck each. California??? my home state!
