I spent about $40 for everything and already had some of it lying around. It sure beats blasting parts in the driveway. Here's how:

Would like to see some pics of how you vacuume formed the glove holes if you have them. Pretty neet! I don't have pictures but did a quick Solidworks rendering. Here is what the wooden buck looked like. I had access to a vacuum former at a past job. It was a vac motor and tank connected to a table with a bunch of holes in it. You heat up the plastic sheet that is stapled to a wooden frame, lay it over the form, and hit the vacuum valve and it is sucked tight over it. let it cool and trim it out. |
