Thanks for linking the two posts together... whoever did that !! That's way cool.
3W Larry, I think I may have a few more pix. I will see if my kid will post them tomorrow. (yeah, I have my 13 year old son post this stuff for me. In trade, I let him drive my coupe all over the dry lake today.... He didn't seem to mind.) Later,,,, Rob. Rob,
Do you happen to know Jim Lindsley? He used to run a superbird,I think it was copper, with Lindsley in big letters on it? When I was just out of High school, I dated his daughter Patty.

Bobbys car had a way high gear today and managed a 93mph and change. Lots more in it, I'm sure. Car looked cool under power.--TV

Great pics of really interesting cars. Thankyou. We've got 10,000 lakes here in Minnesota and not one of them is dry. Damn!

Ryan, Despite a 10 mph head wind and a way too high gear ratio. 2.80. (She wouldn't pull in third, I had to shift back down into 2nd to finish the run), she still ran 93.1 mph. So I think we have some room for improvement. ![]() ![]() Blogmaster Coop was on hand to capture some great pics. Here is a link: http://positiveapeindex.blogspot.com/ PS. Thanks for asking. .

....just a thought.. something I have noticed in my own pictures and try to correct when I can.
would the black 32-34 pickup photo be better with or without the plastic crapper in the background? that is the question I would have asked myself when shooting that one. I spent a good 10 minutes removing a row of plastic crappers from one of my bakersfield pics. first time this thought entered my head was a picture of a 32 at pleasanton. grass was green, sun was in the right spot, no people milling about. it would have been a photo fit for a HOT ROD calander.. ...... except for the plastic crappers |
