A friend of mine just got a 41 Ford Convertible and I was trying to convince him to go 40's style custom with it. I need visual aids...

Anybody have any cool pics? They don't have to be of a vert but that's what I'd really like to see. Show me coupes too though.

There really aren't that many in the books...

Yeah I like that Chopper car a lot. I like the ford grill better though IMHO. Is it just me or is something not quite right about the chop? I've seen it in person and must say that I didn't notice anything wierd but in the pics it seems a little flat? Am I nuts?

    Thanks for the pics guys...

  5. yeah i like the 41 front end better too.

    Thanks guys...

I have lots of ammo now. I think he'll like purple's buddy's mild custom.

Now here's a question all this has raised in my mind...

I think 41s have a ton of potential but of the wild customs you guys posted and the ones in the Barris books and the other custom books, I haven't found one yet that I thought was perfect. Something seems to be a little off on all of them. Have you guys ever seen one you thought had the perfect mods done to it?

Mercs have Sam Barris' and the Hirohata. 40 Mercs have the Matranga. Shoebox fords have Junior's and Litton's. 36 fords have (that Westergard one) can't remember the name. Who is there for 41 fords?

One more: Johnny 'Snaps' Linder's (of the Kustoms & Klassics, Rochester, NY) coupe.

Here is another one of Jesse Lopez' 41.

I would say this and Deron Wrights rides is perfect rolemodels for your buddys 41, if kustoms is his thing.
