Recently I had to travel to Kansas for work; I made a post that I could transport parts from Denver, CO to KS or back. One of the replies I got was from Nosurf who lives in Abilene, KS. He offered drinks and a ride in his '31 coupe if I stopped by. It was well worth it!! Not only did I get a ride in a fabulous garage built car, but I got to feel first hand Jay’s passion and connection with his Model A. What a fabulous story of history, love and commitment!! Thanks JAY!! But it was not only that experience, I also aqquired a great friendship with Jay and his family. They are a wonderful example of the fine people that can be found on the HAMB.
So now to the find - While cruising on the back roads of Kansas, I spotted two 26-27 T Coupes next to a barn. As the knock on the door resulted in stillness I left a note that I was interested in the coupes. My phone rang a few days later when I was back in Colorado, the old farmer said: "Yea, them old curs er fer sale, & I also have uh TT truck, uh T Roadster, & uh T Seedan that goes witt um." You can imagine my excitement, as I quizzed him on the details I was having dreams of flatheads and open headers for their future! So I hung up Called Jay and spread the enthusiasm like a bad cold. Jay split the blacktop with his camera and shot the pics that you see here. I rang the farmer and said "I'll take UM!" So here they are in all their patina glory. Chicken Shit and all! Jay and I are planning to pick them up on Sunday (10-22-2006) and draggin them back to the Nosurf ranch for a evening of 6 volts, gasoline and hand cranking on the roadster. How cool would it be to cruise around wind in the face and chicken shit blowing off and hitting you in the head! Now that is traditional hot-roddin’........ If your interested in these cars let me know, they will be available after 10-22 for sale or trade. If you are interested in one or five let me know. If you are interested in helping with the rescue or revival we need you! Nosurf and I will keep the post live and updated! Enjoy!!! 26-27 Model T Roadster (Chickens and Goats not included) 26-27 Model T Coupes 26-27 Model T Sedan ![]() 26-27 Model TT Truck w/ Flatbed

THIS is an awesome post!
I can almost hear the clucking and smell the chicken poop. Did you get that minibike laying on the ground next to the roadster? That roadster would be cool pretty close to how it is right now. I like the stripped down look and the stock stance. Looks like it has a history. Did you learn anything from the farmer? |

LMAO.
Nothing will beat the two cats that scrambled out of that box in the back of the truck and scared the shit out of me when I walked up to take a closer look.
