Looks like they have the chrome buckles, but not the retractable style... thanks!

I've been thinking the same thing. I switched my daily to a 67 T-Bird and it has front lap belts and nothing in the rear. I need something for the car seats and can't figure out exactly how to do it yet.

I installed rear seatbelts in my Valiant. There were no holes for the rears, so I drilled my own and used big ass ROUND (important, square plates will tear the floor in an accident and possibly come free) washers under the floor. Most kits come with the bolts and 3" washers.

Spacing was easy, I just eyeballed 1 side, wacked the spot with a punch (can't remember the correct name of the tool) and then checked under the car to make sure that the hole would clear the subframe and any body seams. Once 1 side was done I used that side as a template for the other.

The other thing to check when marking the placement of the holes is that you want them in line with the top of the seat.

  12. Thanks for this thread, I really need to get some myself. Can't have the kids in the car without them.

After digging around the internet for a few hours I found these guys http://www.gotbelts.com/style.html... they have the retractable belts with the chrome buckles... even good colors.

The ones that I want are $55, but I couldn't find exactlly what I wanted anywhere else.

  17. I see you're in California. There's a company in Fullerton called the "Truck Stop". They sell at Pamona and at Long Beach. They carry all kinds of belts, colors, chrome, black plastic,two-point,three-point,etc..There number is 714-870-7920.

They are a great company, I have purchased a ton of stuff from them in the past for my 69 C-10. Thanks for reminding me, I'll have to see if they have what I need.
