Here's my latest. I made the tranny crossmember so it unbolts and drops down. I made the mounts too, because I didn't like the way the factory mounts sat. I made it flush with the bottom of the frame, and once I section the oil pan a little bit, nothing should hang below the frame at all. I also cut the subframe and sat the body on the frame. They are baby steps, but it feels nice to have something that is starting to look like a real car. About 14 million other things, and I should be done!
I like it ..................but i realy like the fact that you are runing spoked wheels, i hardly see anyone with them around here. You might want to check and see if there is a limit on how much you can chop your sedan, there is a law here that you have to have a 9" windshild( i think i spelled that wrong sorry).
john once again great job.. keep showin us progress here.. I like your work on that trans crossmember.. Jeff
Very Nice! Although...make sure you have that car supported well - I see it is up on some bricks - they are probably not the most stable thing to have it on - We don't want to see a post from one of your friends saying you are in ICU cause your car fell on you keep up the good work And Chop it
Hey John Looks good. Wish mine were going that well, but cant always have what you want. Keep up the good work. -John
The bricks were just to hold the wheels up to where they will be when it's on the ground. I have the frame on jackstands.
thats sick man. Keep us posted bro. I will be starting my T Sedan project soon. I think the chop needs to be proportional. Im going to channel mine and keep it low, then chop it about 4-6 inches. Keep it proportional.
