Well it's done and it made it to the show on SUnday,,, They ran into a issue
with the flywheel that set them back ..so they finished the car at 6am Sunday and loaded up the car and made it to the show,,,those guys looked
spent..but they were stoked to have the car done,.,,Franco was a happy camper,,,,

The Headers that started it all.... For those that don't know.. he bought the original headers and built the car around it.

Great old footage and a great car! I like it better than the Kookie version myself.

Gotta say that I agree!. Great film clips-Definitely Koolsville!
I saw that car there yesterday as I drove in, a buddy has a T with the similar look! he built it years ago but got that Lightning Bug look down as did Franco, Gotta say that Franco & Co, had people around him all day so if he was tired, he wasn't being unhospitipal as many were laying compliments re:the rebirth of the Lightning Bug.
I think that this great! Now all 3 versions of this car exist,If one could only get Jimmy (Street) Skonzakis to bring that last version out, people would be able to see the evolution of the 1st Grabowski T. (Later T-Tub became My Mother the Car and was a LA Roadster club car).
Great Job on the best version of that car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dropped by to see Franco on my way home from Paso. Even in pieces this car was perfect. Congrats to you and team in getting this one done. I'm sure Norm would approve.
