Nothing fancy. A homemade aluminum insert with a '37 Ford speedometer and Autometer Antique Beige temp and oil gauges. I think I've located a replacement for that ugly-ass steering wheel (I can't wait to part with it).

yeah... I bet you can't... I'd prefer a couple of set of vice grips over that wheel! Rest looks great though.

So, somewhere there's an '80s Ford Escort running around with a '40 Ford wheel? :D

    My dash in "Trouble Maker"
Made a panel that 'floats' behind the openings mounting the gauges. Military AMP and Oil Pressure gauges and an old S-W mechanical tach. Going to paint the tach bezel black to match. All mounting screws are brass.

My vice grips are kinda old, probably wouldn't stay clamped long enough to back out of the shop.:D

If I was confident in my steering wheel restoration abilities, i woulda had a '36 wheel on it long ago. At any rate, it should be gone by the end of the summer.

One of the things I'm really proud of on my car is that if you look closely, you'll see thats actually an aftermarket modern digital radio that fits in the stock location and controls a 10 disc changer but appears to be stock. Nice thing about Tri-Fives, they make some really cool stuff for them even if a lot of people on here think they are played out.

    Thank you.
She is an artist but it was the first she did anything like this.
I am really proud of her and she was very proud that I let her put it in the coupe for me.
Got the talent from me???? No way is my patience that long but...There's just a few genes mixed in there somewhere. :) Thanks again
