55 Chevy Gasser *VIDEO* & pics 9.84 @ 133mph

After almost 2 years of work, the Shakey Puddin 55 Chevy made it's first full pass. I was at Speedworld Raceway in Surprise Arizona for the 1320 Invitational event.

The car went 9.84 @ 133mph with a 1.34 60ft.

I couldn't be happier right now. Thought I would share some pics and crappy videos (apologies).

It's really making mad that I can't post them here. I thought I knew how to do it.

That car is bad to the bone. Too bad the video isn't too great. We're definately going to need the rundown on the specs of that car. I hear 2 shifts?

I was fortunate to see this car run yesterday. It sure is impressive . Sounds great and goes straight as an arrow. I believe it has a reverse pattern Turbo 400. I just wish he was able to make it out to Speedworld next weekend.

Ford 9" with all the good stuff. 5.14 gear
Ladder bars with coil overs.
33x10.5 slicks on 15x12 Ansen slots
TH400 manual reverse pattern with an ATI 8" converter
477ci Big Block Chevy (.100 over 454)
13.7:1 compression
Iron 990 GM heads, ported, 2.30 intake, 1.88 ex valve
Solid roller cam.
Old Hilborn stack injection on alcohol.
Custom made 2 1/8" primary fenderwell headers.

 

1.34 60ft pulling the wheels slightly.
I was hoping it would wheel stand a bit more, but the damn thing really works like it's supposed to. Plus it's got a lot of weight up front.

 

That is got to be one of the baddest 55 goin. And it is super fast too.
